I spent a little time in my shop this weekend .I did a little upgrade to my trike camper. I made a new cooler rack and small flip up table so if we stop along the road to make a sandwich ,or need a place to put our camp stove when at camp,we will have it handy to use.We have found that if we are trying to make time while traveling,we do much better if we stop and eat from our cooler rather than fast food restrant .We are leaving for our longest trip ever on a bike or trike on the 23rd of June . Around 7000 miles planned. West coast bound.

It's been a while since I last posted .I have been reading the forum ,but never had anything new to post.

You have reminded me of our first trip to wings over the smokies. My wife and I were young and had 2 small boys at the time ,and seemed at the end of the week all of our money was spent. Felt like we were barely making it. We had joined the GWRRA , and was riding with our local chapter. That fall we went to the rally with our chapter. It was cold and we did not have good riding gear,so we used what we had and bundled up the best we could. Borrowed some warmer gear on the way for my wife. While the rest of the chapter stayed at a hotel,we stayed in a tent just down the road, because we did not have enough money for a hotel room.We would wake up in the morning and run to the shower house to get warm.Lol.We made lots of memory's with very little money back then.My grandmother always said ,a poor man has poor ways. We weren't really poor,we were a young family trying to make it.

A great example of memorable experiences. Some of my best were when I was poor as a church mouse.

Love your modification and the wife and I still eat out of a cooler more often than not when tripping around the country. ThumbUp

I am thinking my wife will be asking for another table on the other side of the cooler.I think I will tell her that she can use the top of the cooler if she needs more space.

Nice looking camper but my wife is not a happy camper. We took our long trip out west last year little over 7200 miles and we had lunch out of our cooler every day. It made a big savings on our meals. Enjoy your trip be safe and have fun.
