Weak reverse

I have noticed in the 5 days I have ridden the '05 GW Motor Trike that the reverse is incredibly weak. It won't pull on even the slightest incline, and won't pull with a passenger even on flat surfaces. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't know if this is normal or if I need to have it looked at for defects.

Mine is OK though the reverse is not as strong as the reverse on the Hannigan/BMW that preceded it. I like the Honda switching mechanism better than the BMW but the BMW reverse is considerably stronger and more positive.

Mine pulls with a passenger on flat land just fine. It also backs up inclines ok I guess.
