We wish to change our stock horn

Sorry if this has already been addressed however...........

We wish to discard the stock horn and add our own horn to our Stallion and...does anyone know where the stock horn is located exactly under the hood?

Photos would be GREATLY appreciated..

Howdy Doc....Thanks for the come back ! Which brand of horn and can

you address my question, as to WHERE the stock horn is located? I have another

"type" of horn I wish to change from my stock one. Lastly does the word "Bac-si"

mean anything to you?

I changed my stock horn within a month of ownership as I detested that OEM foghorn. I wanted to put it in the OEM location. It is located on the right side of the engine down low. I had to remove the cowling located in front of the engine. It splits in the middle so only remove the right half. I connected into the OEM wiring. It is one of those high pitch air horns. It was only like $40. Hope this helps.

sorry about that , I have mounted a twin truck horns made by HORN BLASTER'S , this is a three piece unit 2 horns relay and a compressor , mounted just above the front fender in between the front forks with the air compressor mounted on the side there also . As my Stallion is used for Parades , I have a large siren there also ..I like waking up the kids sitting on the curbs , just wished I had a place to mount TRAIN HORNS on it !!!!! Have fun Guys

Thanks Marc, you answered my question exactly!! :clapping: My "ho-hum" (yawn) stock horn is no more. I have air horns on both my springer and my wife's springer, but wanted something different. I located on old-timey and very loud "AAAAOOOOOGA" which sounds GREAT !!!:qpnmt:
