Hi, we're Dave & Vicki from central South Dakota. This week we purchased a Goldwing with a MotorTrike conversion. Have ridden it only 2 days so far but are really enjoying!

Welcome Dave and Vicki! Get all the riding in you can before that snow moves in. We are glad you have joined our forum family. You can keep up on riding things through the winter via the forum now.

Hello Vicki and Dave, Congratulations on your new and beautiful Trike! And congratulations on joining the Trike Talk Forum and a big welcome to you! Stay tuned to this forum and you will find very friendly, knowledgeable and Trike loving folks. We are here for whatever you wish to know about Triking. You should check out joining the TOI (Trike Owners International); it is free and will help connect you both to the Trike folks in a different way. There are several threads in the forum that will explain the organization and its benefits. Also, put pictures up of your new Ride, we love pictures. Good luck and enjoy...

Welcome, glad to see a neighbor joining, I live between Sturgis and Rapid City. I also have a Goldwing with Motor Trike IRS. I have had my trike since January and if I knew then what I know now I would have purchased one a long time ago.

Thank You everyone! I have one question: What's all this talk about Winter? I learned years ago that Winter is only a state of mind. I learned many years ago that there are many pleasant riding days during Winter, probably more than Summer days in the South where you have to contend with 100+ degree days and high humidity! Around here we have only two kinds of weather Riding and Ice Fishing! :wave4:

Welcome aboard Dave&Vickie, from the beautiful Pacific Ocean !! I agree about Winter , trikes were made to ride all the time. Of course, where I live it's in the 60's and 70's year round, but you kinda get used to it. See Ya on the road!
