water pump failure

Have been reading on the water pump failure stuff. On my second 2016 triglide, just had my second failure. what. a pain. At least this bike is a certified bike and the upgrade will be covered by the warranty. Been reading that you can ride as long as you don't beat on it. thoughts please?

Welcome Buster, I was told it is still a air cooled engine just try to avoid city diving.

i had a 16 trike that the water pump quit working on. i was a couple thousand miles from home & rode it all the way back with no problems. Once home i sent the pump to a guy on one of these forums & he fixed it.

When my 2014 water pump went out I did ride it straight to the nearest dealer and they replaced it, the second time it went I was close to home so I rode it to my house and did the upgrade myself never had another problem with it.

A few years ago my 16 took a dump when in SD. Rode it back to Ohio. No problem.

Welcome aboard, I rode mine from Charlottesville VA to Snow Hill NC. Avoid long stops.
