Warranty problems ?

Just wondering ' I read a lot on forums that when someone has their dealer install an item, Be it a performance part or an tow-hitch;ETC.
That dealer says we'll honor the warrteny ''But'' some other dealer might not..:Shrug:
Has anyone ever have another dealer turn them down? [First hand not that it happened to my Sisters boy friends uncle]
Now i don't mean when you do a Rube Goldberg type install yourself or from an aftermarket co., I'm talking about a ''Dealer'' install...

Bob, I've had the pleasure of owning and operating 9 Wings during the last 35 years and have never had anything installed by a dealer or ever needed any warranty work on any of the bikes. My my Harleys were a totally different story. Needed extended policies with nearly all of them. I would think any work that a Honda dealer did they, the dealer, would stand behind for a specified amount of time.
