So I'm on another HD site and it gives me nightmares. Their always having some kind of trouble with passwords. In the last couple of yrs I have gone on and they ask for my password ? WHY I was just on yesterday ?? So now that I don;t have to type in my pass everyday I forget what it is. So I have a book with all my passwords in it. WAIT A MIN I know what your thinking. YES I have different pw's for other sites. WHY? Because they had to be re set also at one time or another. That's why the BOOK. lol. This site TANK GOD isn't like them at all. been on here a few yrs and NEVER EVER had to re set it or change it. I mean Damn its not the Pentagon or the White house its just a Harley site. ( There's your ammo go for it) Thanks for letting an old dog bark for a while. :D

I also am on another HD site... And about 2 years ago in order to get on one day i needed my password ... After 5 try's and not getting on' I just gave up...Two years go by, And just last month i managed to get on the first try... A while back i had a similar problem on this site.. I had to send an Email to the boss to figure out how to get back on...Nothing wrong with either site... Just something wrong with me and the way i understand computer terminology... :gah:

I believe the HD forum is requiring that all members change their pass word. On my I-pad all my user name and PW 's are stored in notes. Getting quite a list going.

I had an email from V-Twin Forum today telling me my new password, and that I needed to go change it. I found it funny because I haven't visited that site in quite awhile.

Re: HD Forum; are they still wasting time discussing SOA and who's a "real biker" over there?

I've got a question. I'm slow and old and can't figure this out. In that article they list their top 15 passwords. #1 was 123456, with 150K+ users. I can see that, people being lazy. #3 was password, with 83K+ users. Okay. But #2 was 18atcskd2w, with 91K+ users. Where the heck did that come from? And #4, 3rjs1la7qe, with 74K+ users.

How did all these people come up with the same combo like that? Does it mean something, and I just don't see it? Or is some password creator program spitting out the same passwords to everyone that uses it?

Seems like the older I get, the dumber I is...

Don't feel bad about keeping a logbook of passwords, I have been doing it for years!! And sometimes I can even de-cypher it to figure out what I wrote!! If someone wanted mine they could break into my house , my dog would only bark when you were on the way OUT the door, steal my logbook. But you would have to figure out my scribbling, so that is my added anti-theft!!

One thing that took so long is they had to send you a password so you can reset your password:xzqxz:. And with my family in town and running here and there and trying to understand what the *&^% was going on was a mess. Lucky for me I had a friend on there that got hold of a mod and had him call me and set me back up. It feels good to be back on again last night and this morning. Just for the future if your ever knocked off or can reset yours. Any site your on look up the mods and write down away to get a hold of them if you can't log on. OR you have a good friend that's on there to enlist his help to get to a mod. Makes life easier for you if and when it happens to you.
