Looking at getting into a trike from a 2 wheel Wing & wondering how the performance is with VTX1300 & VTX1800 Trikes are on the open road & around town. Your comments/experience is appreciated. Ron (Delray Beach Fl)

Having owned and ridden both.....the 1300 has "enough"....the 1800 has a "whole lot more".....ThumbUp

1300 is all the trike I need. Light enough to "Flintstone Reverse" easy to maneuver around town. Plenty of power for the interstate. Better Gas milage then the 1800. Physical size is the same. 2 up riding is fine. Don't need 5th gear until 60 mph. If you want to compare it to a Wing you had better get the 1800 but I ride with them side by side all day long 2 up. Since the pics were taken I have added Bar chaps, Passenger back rest, Stero, Front mud flap, Driving lights.
