A friend and member here brought his trike by to find a vibration.
I check everything I could. Drive shaft, u joints and splines, pulled the rear wheels and checked bearings as well as fluids.
I think, my first thought in the beginning, it is a normal vtx 1800 shake
A little more than my 2 wheel version.
Any one else run into this?

When are the vibrations most noticeable? Is it at a certain speed, certain gear, or both? What about RPM related? VTX 1800 don't like to be lugged and most people seem to lug the fire out of them!! Buddy used to have one as a trike (with a different brand kit) and I couldn't believe just how much vibration it had unless you kept the rpm's up there.

I've ridden a few VTX 1800's when I was shopping for my most recent bike but just couldn't get passed that low rpm vibration they have.. Almost reminded me of a broken motor mount in my old chevy truck. That vibration is one of the reasons I ended up buying a Warrior 1700 instead of the VTX.
