Volt/RMP Gauge

Well I have been painting the trike and today I needed to start it to move it. I notice that the rmp gauge and volt gauge not working. I checked the engine area to see if there was a wire that was disconnected. all seems good there.

What could be the problem?

Hey Big!

Did you move or remove any components prior to painting? It's possible you painted over a surface that provided a mechanical ground, and inadvertently fouled the "connection". Happened to me once.

Hi Doug

Yes... Right now I have the front turn signal lights that are don working without a ground... also needed to add another screw to the rear light..
once I put that together going to check again...I will also check my fuses....

Got it fixed after burning x2 fuses...appearently one of the tail light was not connected and the wire was making contact with the metal...after I connected the tail light and replaced the fuse no more issues. thanks all for your help.
