"View First Unread"

That button has stopped working for me - just goes to the first message (Windows 7). Anyone out there a computer genius with a fix???

I have the same problem using a Mac & Safari or Firefox. It also doesn't update my last visited time. Unusual, as this version of vBulletin software is generally very stable.

The button works fine on my computer, and I assure you the programming here is not user-specific, so it should work for all of us. I suggested to Konrad that he clear his "cookies" and restart the computer, then try it again.

Pegasus seems to be having the same problem I have.

I cleared all cookies (following Nana's instructions) and browsing history and emptied temp files. The problem still exists - on both my home computer and my office computer - and both began at the same time!

Still not working for me either.This is the only forum I use that the View first unread button does not work. I have done the same as Konrad but no joy.

I still don't get e mail notices when a post is made to a tread I am subscribed too. Have all the setups as suggested.

We have tried multiple times to duplicate your experience, and have been unable to. Any thread I open, if I click on "View First Unread", it goes straight to the last post. Of course that only works if there ARE posts in the thread that I have not yet read. It won't work with older threads.

Again.... the programming here is NOT user specific. If these links work for most of us, they will work for all of us. Possibly clearing your "cookies" and re-booting your computer would help???? I am at a loss to know what else to suggest at your end when it is working for us and for others.

Sorry, No. Have cleared cache as suggested by Nana, but still no joy.
