View First Unread Not Working For Me

I frequent several forums each morning with my coffee. Most like Trike Talk have a feature to view the first unread post so you don't have to go through the whole thread to find where you left off last visit. I'm finding on Trike Talk when I select view first unread, it takes me down the list somewhat but not all the way to the last post I read which is normally the day before since I visit this forum daily. Am I doing something wrong or is it something I need to change in my settings?

I am also having the same problem. I do Mark Forums Read but that is done before I begin reading. Then I have to select topics by most recent post. Certainly keeps me busy. I will try the selection before I leave site as stated.
