Venture Rider's gathering, Davis WV

anyone who is going (or not going) to Maggie Valley in Sept plan on stopping at the Venture Rider's national gathering in Davis WV, Sept 12-16? I believe most are staying at the Canaan Valley Resort.

For me, that would be a nice stop on the way back to NH.

it may be too late to get a room there...I'm still undecided if I'm stopping there or just going to take that time and hit the back roads all the way from NC to NH. It will be after the holiday so I should not have trouble getting a room if I decide to stop some place.

Decided NOT to stop in Davis WV on the way home. I will instead split up my vacation time and attend the Star Days in Ohio in mid July. Who knows, may meet some of you there.ThumbUp
