Hello trikers, I am looking to buy a trike. If u don't mind, I have a big question.

What are some key points you look for when considering purchasing a used trike?

I was on Craigslist and found a 2006 Goldwing Trike w/ Roadsmith Kit, EZ Steer, new front tire, Trunk Rack, front fender ext, drivers backrest and pass. arm rest.

26,700 miles and asking $24,500

Purchasing is a personal choice as to make and model. I have a Harley trike and am pleased with it. It had plenty of storage space, good rubber, was in good mechanical condition. I've since added a mechanical reverse and easy steer. Ride it before you buy it to see which one feels the best to your butt. Try a Can Am also

The price is a little on the high side but probably with room to bargain. That bike rides like a caddy but it depends on the options it has if it works for you. At that milage it's bearly broke in, and you can expect 2 to 300000 miles out of a well maintained Gold Wing. Good luck.

there's a great g/w on ebay now for 13k, a '06 . ending tomorrow, in mi.then you can decide which trike kit to use.
