Upgraded the rear shock spring... WOW!

I just spent the past few days in the garage and replaced the rear shock spring and wow, what a difference it made....

A new progressive spring and replaced the hydraulic hose while in there.

The joys of motorcycle work....



I forgot how nice being "sprung" properly felt! I should have replaced the spring when we converted the bike to a reverse trike about 5 years ago... but alas...

The weather is warming up for this coming week, so should be able to get her out for an extended ride...

I had read where some people were able to raise the gas tank a tad and get to that bolt. I just couldn't see my way there.... I also took the opportunity to mess with the ground lugs and coolant hose clamps while the tank was out.

I just didn't plug back in the antenna for the radio before finishing up... so after a first run I came back and got back into it enough to get it plugged in...

A happy camper now!
