Unverified Rumors that I heard this weekend!

Harley guys are a unique breed. Spend a ton of money on the worlds best motorcycle and then start fixin it. Then spend thousands more on a warranty. Then modify it so the warrany will be void if detected by the dealer. Keep the stock parts with them at all times in case they break down. Then they can return it to stock before the tow truck gets there. So as not to void their warranty?:xzqxz:I know if I have to explain it you'll never understand.

I can Splane it..... In one word, Or is it two words?......Kool-Aid........

Maybe H.D. is shooting themselves in the foot, maybe not. There are plenty of used bikes out there where warranty is a long gone issue. Customize to your hearts content.H.D. motors can be resurrected, especially shovelheads by anyone with some mechanical skills, even factoring farming out stuff like flywheel balancing. My '76 SuperGlide is still goin strong and I do all the work myself. No one needs a new H.D.-but we want them!
