Has anyone come up with an option for the ugly tail lights?
Would like to at minimum change to a lay down style lens, but with bulb holder and lens being all one assembly not sure even that is possible.

</div>I changed mine to the Brightasslights.com tailights LED version. expensive but I like. I went with the Laydown style. It came with everything just plug and play but I did have to purchase a load equalizer to get mine to work correctly.<br />
<br />
I know other versions are out there, I think Kuryaykn has one also.

</div>Triker, I just looked at their site. Did you get the BAL-3R? Their laydown is perfect, but I was wondering what mode you could run the light in? I nearly pulled the trigger on a couple, but I wasn't sure they would properly function as a break light and a turn signal. Thanks for your insight and experience with these.

</div>Yes the Bal-3R is what I have and they function as a brake and turn signal light works the same as what you have now but much brighter. <br />
<br />
Like I stated you may need to get a load equalizer if they dont work correctly.(I used the plug and play Badlands Load equalizer) and would have to be plugged in before the HD tailight converter that under the seat by the left side of the frame.<br />
<br />
They have a magnet that you can change the intensity of the brightness and several other functions. You can always email them as they been really helpful fo me in the past.<br />

</div>Thanks! Hmm, have a trailer harness isolator in that spot where the equalizer goes. I'll call them to see what they think. Thanks for the info. I like the setup. Expensive but GOOD!

</div>I also have badasslights. I am asked all the time to bring up the rear just because the lights are so bright. Thats okay with me, because you are seen.

Thanks for the info. I know LEDs are bright.
But how do the lay down lights look?
Any pics?
Guess I am looking for a cosmetic improvement more than a functional one.
