Since I have been in the market for a used Trike, I find it hard to figure out which are true Trike kits (3 wheels) or add ons (4 wheels) or some call training wheels.

Maybe we can use this thread to make a list of the true Trike kits.

Voyager = 4 wheels
Ghost wheels = 4 wheels
Retract-a Trike = 4 wheels
Tow Pak = 4 wheels
Insta trike = 4 wheels
Richland Roadster = 4 Wheels

Motor Trike = 3 wheels

There are about 6 or so 4 wheel conversions. Most are very easy to tell by just looking at them. If the have a bar across the rear behind where the rear tire is then they are a 4 wheel setup. The rest usually look like training wheels added to it. There are also a couple of companies that have are called ghost wheels. They are like training wheels that retract when the bike starts moving by throwing a switch. Godd luck.
