I was cruising down this dark and unlit back road about 60 miles north of of my house with my Tri-Glide last night, When all of a sudden a Pig runs in front of me, He came out of nowhere, I did all i could to avoid him but still hit him, I managed to pull over to the side of the road in one piece.

I checked the trike [and my underwear] Lucky there wasn't any damage to either , So i looked around but coulnd't see the Pig,He must of run off into the woods, It was pitched black and with out any houses or cars around..

i figured just let me get out of here, Its dark and no one could have seen me... By the time i drove the 60 miles back home there was a state trooper waiting for me on my driveway..And he proceeded to give me a lecture, And then wrote out two tickets, One for leaving the scene of an accident, And the other one for injuring a farm animal, Each ticket carries a 500 dollar fine and possible 30 day suspension of my drivers license...OUCH!.....

When i asked the Trooper how in the world do you know it was me that hit that Pig??

He just said, The Pig squealed ....

I was sittin here snackin on fried rabbit tracks and drinkin a cold one and thought, "what's this?" I thought you had won tickets to a concert or something.

True story

One night the locally assigned midnight shift State Trooper got a call from his Dispatch to contact a truck driver standing by at the rest area after having hit a big deer and damaging his truck's fender and headlight. Trooper was 20 miles south of the rest area at the area office, call sounded common enough, likely non reportable, figured driver just wanted to get it on record for his safety officer at the trucking co. Trooper used cell number provided and called driver, got a complete description of location of deer hit and damage, made due note and told driver he was covered .... driver was adamant that the Trooper drive to rest area and inspect damage before he'ld leave.

In due time, Trooper drove up to the rest area , passing the scene and seeing to it that the deer carcass was out of the roadway, found truck with minor damage to left front, and a fellow / driver approached the Trooper, Trooper made sure driver was with damaged truck, then said "that'll be five hundred thirty eight dollars ... cash or check, 5% more if credit card", driver about fainted. Driver then sheepishly asked "What you mean?" Trooper said with no smile "it cost money to stock deer and the state charges $2 a pound stocking fee", and he went on to say that he had weighed the dead dear on the way to the rest area with a fold up crane / scale mounted in the trunk and that one was 267 ponds on the hoof. Driver got real nervous ... then Trooper laughed, and driver stated "You had me going" .... :)

It was funnier then. ;)

Back when I was an over the road truck driver, I got pulled over by the Georgia State Police. The cop got out of his car, sauntered up to my door, and in a really gruu voice said "PAPERS!!!", so I said, in a kindly voice, "scissors, I win", and drove off. :Santa:
