twisting feeling under engine torque

I have a motor trike kit on a 2003 goldwing 1800. I just started having a feeling of twist or slide in the rear end when throttling up the engine. feel's like your butt is going to the left when the bike is going straight. This prob has just started in the last ride. I took the wheel's off and felt for looseness anywhere and cant find anything. Not a safe feeling under riding condition's.

I think I read somewhere that some GW's have a problem with cracked frames. Might want to take a close look at your frame.

welcome aboard and definitely like mentioned above check for a cracked frame. There was a recall on early 1800's for that.

Thank you all so much for the input. I will be checking very closely on all of your suggestion's. Knowing the way my luck has been going lately, it would prob be a cracked frame. lol. Hopefully not. Trip up thru Arkansas and Missouri next month planned. My first visit to Trike Talk and already finding it so informational and enjoyable.

Well 03 is the right year for the cracked frame, if it is, it has to be stripped of the trike and turned up side down ,crack is near the center stand I am told.

Mine is an o1 and was just welded. The frame was cracked on both sides where the passenger foot peg bracket is welded into the frame. The cracks could be seen by laying on my back and looking up at the bottom of the frame.

Just an update to all. I pulled the seat so that I could see all around and under when jacked up. I found that all four of the bolt's that hold the trike kit swing arm were all backed off. I tightened them about two full turn's each and rode about 150mls today and it did'nt give any kind of problem's that I was experiencing. You guy's are the greatest. Def will be coming here for any kind of prob's. Yall are pro's with help. Thank's again.

If you're coming up to my country to ride twisties then bring your wrenches with you. LOL. Our twisties will stress a trike. BTW, I would be investigating why they came loose. I'm not familiar with MT kit but I would consider backing out one bolt at a time and putting some Lock-Tite on those puppies.
