Twin Cam noise

Just pointing out something hd should be doing. After purchase price, and all the "little" add ons i have approximately $ 30,000 in my 15 Freewheeler. I don't see why i should have to tear an engine apart for a cheap fix. This is just a sample of substandard practices. I've been "supporting" hd since mid ' 80's. Rode metric before that. I know I have little if any financial impact on moco, but "my" age group is keeping them afloat.

I remember doing that repair on my last two twin cam motors years ago with the kit sold online. It help with the ticking in the 2500 rpm range. You still had the problem of end to end excessive rocker shaft clearance which could be shimmed.

Harley is well aware of my kits, and my solution to the problem. And no, until I found the cause they nor anyone else had any idea.

Harley's problem is that they can't admit there IS a problem, lest tens of thousands of ticking bikes show up at dealers' doorsteps.

Fortunately, there's me
