TT

Only if ''You'' find that the pipes are too loud....Or you find that you lost low end performance from the pipes.....

I like the deeper sound, but yes they are a little loud, they feel like they are straigh open with the cat removed.

All this and still not sure what size, 1 5/8 inside the 2in pipe, how far inside?

and according to the chart (and what DK techs have told me) 1-1/2" to 2" from the exit end.

Al, if you do this, please let us know if you see a difference in low end. I have the 2.25" Fullsac baffles on my 17 TG and have the TTIs, just have not installed them yet. I have noticed a very slight decrease in low end torque, but I have not considered it significant enough to add the TTIs. I can easily do this without removing the mufflers again by getting the trike on the lift and removing the end caps to drill and install the inserts.

Thanks,

I just got done installing the TTl-118, took it out for a 2hour ride and I don't know. Maybe its me but I didn't feel any incresse in low & mid range torque or h p. I can't say it made any differnce in how loud it is or tone. Or maybe it did and I'm getting too old to hear the difference. I like the way it sounds and maybe I should leave things alone and just ride while I still can.
