Well only 335 days till New England TrikeTalk .com II I already have my 2 new people. I told to people at my Mc Donalds Bike night . I think it should be an optional 1 or 2 day. personally I think we will ruin our chances for a large number of attendees if it is only an overnight rally. Some can come 2 days some can come just Sat. or just Sun. moving it more south and west may get us into a better demographic area. might be able to draw from NY NJ and PENN. Lets all put on our thinking caps. Don't want the ones that attended to have to got300 miles either. would be nice to end up where there is something to see. i was thinking Rhinebeck, NY , Hyde Park (Roosevelt mansion) beautiful riding at West point and Bear MT and for the brave we might even do Orange County Choppers . if Big Pauly is still in business <LOL>. all do able all easy rides . I am getting excited already

Well I just found out we have a new sponsor and he is in our neighborhood. remember at the NE TT rally we were talking about builders and trike sales in our area, well KENT ROAD MOTORSPORTS is just down the road from me and not far from most of you all. He is a Champion dealer. I know many members south of us are fortunate to have ZOOK close by . Well now we may have it just as good. I will be going to pay JIM , the owner ,a visit in the next week or 2 .

John I think its great about Kent Road Motorsports joining us as a sponsor, but no one will come close to what Zook does for this Forum. We would not be a group without his forsite and devotion to TrikeTalk.

Yes I agree Zook is a great supporter. But it is nice to have a local that we can turn to for service in our area. I am Glad that Jim (KENT ROAD MOTORSPORTS ) in Ct. has jumped on the forum. It was starting to get pretty scary not having a Trike builder in the area. I hope Jim turns out to be as wonderful as Zook has been for the people in his area as well as the people on this forum .

where are all my NE people ..We need to get this ball rolling so people won't be saying they didn't know about it.

Can't speak for everyone else, but with the season winding down, at the moment I'm trying to take stock of where I'm at right now - financially, etc. I'm also heading into my "busy time" here - King Richard's Faire at some point, my PowWow weekend, Salem MA on Oct 17 to watch the MDA motorcycle run (anyone is welcome to join me - it's awesome!!)....and that's just the weekend activities!! ;)

Hubby has just found a local job, so as soon as we get a routine set I'll have a better idea of finances, and then I can begin "planning" next year's vacations/trips.

Just a thought....my current plan is to have business cards made inviting people to join TrikeTalk (like you & others have had made), and distribute them to various m/c shops in my area, concentrating on the ones with trikes - I can think of 4 of them off the top of my head, 2 of them Harley dealerships. I was also thinking after the start of the new year (scary how close that actually is!!!) I'll see about putting up flyers for TT4/Maggie Valley, and then TT/NE after that.

Yes you are truly a team player Cheri.. Sorry we didn't wait for you when we left . I hesitated as we pulled out but you didn't look like you were ready to leave.

Got 2 more sign ups . We are growing . One in Southern Conn. one in Central Mass. I know we have one in Danbury, Ct. but he has not come forward. Also a guy in NEW London , CT also spoke with me about starting something as a group. a guy in RI is interested In going to Kent to look at a trike. If I could get Kent Road Motorsports to come that would be great. there is No obligation people . We will not bug u , but if we don't know if you exists we can't tell u about it. Sign up get your name on the list .

Buggi Pilot delivered my shirt last night at the Bike/ Car show here in to. may have 3 more from the bike show last night . We are growing . Thanks Pete for the special shirt.

John, where in central MA? I'd like to contact that person, or have them contact me. I've seen another trike around Sturbridge a couple of times now (I know there's more, but this one I've seen more than once), but they're usually headed in the opposite direction from me - I'm wondering if it's the same people?

And how's Honey doing? :)

Did U like the shirt? honey is doing good . She came down to the care show met Pete. Let me find address of Mass. people

Ran into Dancinjim from ORANGE, CT at Doc's open house. He had his brand new White Stallion. So now we know Conn. will allow them to be registered and driven here . Told him a bout NE Rally

2 more added today we now have 14 trikes on the list . Possible 25 people now. Great assortment for even people looking to see a trike . You are welcome to come see what the trikes look like, and now if all of you bring one person you know that has a trike or wants a trike we will be ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo we added another one Tues. night 15 now .

I believe we are now at 18 possible and counting . Only less than 10 months to NE TT Rally .... Never too early to start up making plans.

John,
I met up with some nice New England folks at the Stafford Springs Swap Meet today. Told them about our New England group .... hopefully we have a few more friends to add to the list. Linda I told you I'd be callin' you out on this one ;) so now its time to get You and Gary over to the nubie section and introduce yourselves . Hey Doug if your reading this nice talking to you today also and please join our group

Great Talking to you today and Thank You for your time
Pete G ..... aka "Buggie Pilot"

I'm getting excited already... What a blast if we get 20 Trikes and all different types.

Ok I did'nt read everyones comments. What is the date for this? Is it before the snow falls and temps drop to below freezing?

Jim, we haven't set an exact date or place for it yet, but we're thinking end of August/beginning of Sept. There was only a few of us last year, so we met up fairly locally for a short ride and lunch - we're still thinking/talking about a location for this year, but probably still central/western MA area last I knew. I'm not sure if that's too far for you, but you're more than welcome to join us!! The more the merrier!! :D

Well Aug. will be here before we know it. We need to put our heads together . I know a few will be meeting in June at Americade breakfast on that Sat at Longshots. We can talk then. Liked the idea of the raffle. I liked the dinner ride part. Don't know what else to plan. The one day was good. I think a 2 or 3 day would be over kill, until we build up more people and a bigger venue .

I have not heard from any of the people that participate last year. I hope we have not lost them. All that got a shirt please try to wear it this year. Name tags would be a great idea. Anyone that can get some BLING for the give aways let us know. Group picture is a must do also .

Yup! Time to start planning for the New England regional rally! :pepper::pepper:

I love that you guys have started this, and I hope other regional groups start a similar gathering. What a great way to build on the friendships started on the forum!

End of August/beginning of Sept sounds good. I will try and keep my schedule free around then. Vacation end of July/beginning of August shouldn't conflict. Let me know details as they work out John.

We have to set a date fairly soon so I can be sure to get the time off. We should get a head count. A little soon right now. We can start one at the end of May. We talked a bout a new location . I thought we spoke of some place in western Mass Rt 2 the Mohawk trail is a nice ride. I would love to see some of the members in the area that ride VW trikes and Spyders or the Stallion join us .We got a lot of stares as we drove through towns last year... Of course Future trikers or 2 wheeler are also welcome. Talk it up we had 8 trikes and 4 bikes and 18 people last year I know we can double it this year.

Ok I picked up 2 trophies for the TT N.E. rally. I think one will be for furthest traveled and the other will be a peoples choice . Any other suggestions? I am not about to choose who get a trophy from all the beautiful TRIKES that show up . I don't know how they do it at a bike show . They all look beautiful to me . . I think the peoples choice were everyone votes is the best way. Anyone come up with any door prizes yet?

John or Cheri: Have either of you talked to Rob & Lynn lately? I have'nt seen any posts from them in awhile, was wondering if there going to make it to Lake George this year. tis......

Tis, he actually just replied to my PM, so he's alive & kicking! Asked about Americade - I'll let you know what he says.

Still waiting to see when we are going to have the 2nd annual TT NE Rally . Seems like we are loosing steam. I have to get a date so I can plan a day off . Who is still going ? We were up to 14. I think Maryann will be up to it by then. LET's hear from you all . Still interested and where do you wish to have it .

Well I'll start the date thing again ..... Lets try August 27th ..... Rain date September 10th
