Received my "trunk open warning system" from the folks at SeeThroughBraz yesterday and it looks like another quality product from those guys.
i know most of us lock the trunk door before hitting the road but there have been numerous times I haven't and numerous times I've pulled up to find my truck open.
This system from SeeThroughBraz has a red LED light that comes on when the trunk door is open. It has a magnetic switch that affixes to the trunk and a magnet that affixes to the door. When this circuit is broken a red LED lights up on the system. Everything looks to be pretty straight forward with the install. Appears you can hook it straight to the battery (which I'll probable do) or splice it into the license plate light. All parts are included to do both.
My biggest issue is where to mount the LED strip. It has a sticky tape so it will mount just about any where you want to stick it. Knowing I want to be able you see it at list glance I'll thinking on the bottom lower inner fairing. I'm very OCD so it's got to be just right.
Will post some pics when I get it installed.
