simple question. while roadsmith appears to have one of the nicest engineered kits, i cannot say the same for customer service. i was treated like royalty while ordering the kit, i paid 100% up front, and now cannot get the time of day from the person i ordered it from. :Computer:

That's strange! The pin fell out of one of the hinges to the trunk door recently. I emailed Roadsmith about the problem and within 30 minutes received an email back that they were sending me a new hinge. Previously I had complained that I didn't like the door latch and they immediately sent me one of a newer design which made for easier one-handed opening of the trunk door.

Try them again.

I have been riding a Roadsmith for seven months and over 3000 miles and no problems.
I have contacted the factory with a question or two and had an immediate response. We are having fun on our Roadsmith. If you will email them they will respond.

Ride safe

jt - Just sayin!

Who did you order from a dealer or direct from Roadsmith? Also why would you pay 100% before delivery?

When I ordered it was only a deposit and I was given a schedule or when the kit would be shipped, but I was working with a dealer.

I sent an e-mail to them on your trunk latch issue. Over a month ago & haven't heard a word from them. I think I,ll see if I can do something about it myself. So much for good PR:innocent::pukeface:

I'm really surprised! My experience with Roadsmith has been excellent. If you had your conversion kit dealer-installed, perhaps it would benefit you to go there.

o.k.

without going into what happened, i got a call this morning from doug lindholm, the owner of roadsmith. my trike is on the truck and in route, so all is well, roadsmiths reputation is intact.

when dealing with roadsmith i would certainly suggest you talk with doug only. he is the owner and the one who can get things done, and apparently doesn't know how to lie to a customer, so he don't do it.

thank you doug.

gone rodeo'n

I emailed them once and didn't get the time of day out of them but they do watch some forums and when I said something about that on a particular forum they dug through the junk mail and found my email. Probably best to call them.

My experience with Roadsmith, especially my installer The Trike Shop of Daytona has been has been incredible in every way. 100% before, during and after the purchase...ThumbUp Can't ask for anything more :D
