Trouble with my Rewaco HS4. Cant get the ignition lights to come up .

HI all.

wonder if someone can help me. I have a rewaco 2005 HS4 but Im having ignition trouble. Went to start it the other day and nothing, checked the obvious battery connections checked voltage to ignition switch which seems ok?. Then I turned the key again and it flicked into life then went out again so no start. Ive change the ignition switch and the wiring looks ok , Im about to change all the relays incase its that but I can get hold of the ignition one at the end, does anyone know where I can get one. There are no markings on the bugger so i cant track one down. There are 3 identical ones and the last one which is the one I can get hold of.

Hi Paul, :welcome: to Trike Talk and your first post

Have your battery load tested before you go any further

If you don't have access to a load tester, hook up a volt meter @ the battery, read the static voltage, turn on the ignition, if the voltage drops below 10 volts and keeps dropping you can bet you have a bad battery

A fully charged battery should read 12.7 volts after sitting one hour after charging

Good luck with your problem

Hi Paul, Welcome to Trike Talk and before you go to all that trouble. Get a new battery almost guarantee that’s the problem…
