When I had my GL1800 converted to a HT1800 trike, I chose the 4.5° rake. After a few thousand miles, I wish I'd gone the 6° route.

YUP, the RoadSmith GL1800 kits handle the 6 degree rake kit very well. I sure don't regret going that way. Maybe you can find someone doing a MotorTrike conversion that will buy it. Just a thought - give Zook a shout he might work a trade in for you. :D His kits are very good quality. I've installed several of them. :xszpv: :xszpv:

I have the 5.5 rake on my R/Smith, and very happy..(BUT then again ,I never rode one with a 6.0 rake either!) So my opinion really doesn't really mean a "freaking" thing ;);)

I doubt the half degree would be noticeable Ronnie. 1.5 YES -- that is pretty significant change in trail number.
