Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, And I would like to know if any of you have ever converted a Yamaha V Star 1100 to trike using a flipped over narrowed Ford 7.5 differential and a modified ( Widened) stock swing arm ?

If so, I would like to hear from you !

Not a V star but I had to flip my Ford rear for my XS1100 build. You should modify it for proper oil flow through the pinion bearings because being upside down, no oil will get to the bearing.

How did you modify it ? I was thinking about installing a Mocal differential oil cooler pump pumping oil from the bottom of the housing and going back into the differential from the top of the pinion (between) both bearing.

Is that what you did ?
