Trikes for Branson Police

So it's easier for them to ride. They really can't go anywhere a car can't. The only advantage for the cops is they don't have to put there feet down...ever. Just let those donuts work on them.
Besides, Meter Maids were on trikes long before. That's right Branson police. I'm calling you a bunch of Meter Maids (someone remind me not to pass through that city for a couple of years. I like my kneecaps).:qpnmt:

As heavy as the traffic gets through Branson those are probably pretty pointless. A 2 wheeler would be better for dealing with traffic. Someones uncle must be selling them to the city.

I did see The Columbus Ohio police using outrigger style trikes to escort a funeral around I-270. I was really impressed with the way the weaved around traffic on them. Looked like they might have a lot of experience or practice at it.

Two wheelers can get very costly when an officer drops one.
[ie, Disability pensions]

After staying in Branson with the trike last year for a few days I might as well have been driving a car. Traffic gets heavy at all times of the day and I cant see a 3 wheeler being of any use except for meter maids. Considering the cost of equipping one and the amount of usefullness in traffic and such a 2 wheeler would be better bang for the buck.

I live in Berkeley County West Virginia and the County bought 2 CanAms last fall for funerals and parade duty. The City of Martinsburg had a Sportster and then got a dresser.....ooops! That was the end of the motor division in Martinsburg. Charles Town in neighboring Jefferson County was not to be outdone, so they got a CanAm also. I don't believe they would attempt to use them as pursuit vehicles because the Sheriff's parking lot is loaded with wrecked cruisers right now. Yep......funerals and parades, we dying to get into a parade anyway.
