Triker Troy

No that was not posted before this. Only conversed with him on the forum. Seemed to be a very helpful person. Prayers to the family.

I bought one of Triker Troy's Monster Front Ends and Monster necks in May.
This may be one of the last front ends that he built.

In fact, he modified his design and made a "Monster Plus" front end for me.
My front end is 2 inches wider and the triple trees are double the normal thickness.

I spent several days with him and enjoyed every minute.
What a wealth of knowledge he was!!!

He will be missed by both the trike and VW communities.

He was one of a kind.

Very sorry to hear of Triker Troy's passing. The triking world has lost a truly great innovator. We shared a few e-mails (very informative) when I was making my new trike. He had a wealth of knowledge and also a good sense of humor!
R.I.P. Troy :(

I spent many an email talking with Troy about my wheelchair accessible Trike designs; he was a valuable and innovative designer and builder in his own right too. As it was told to me, Troy was found by a family member lying on his kitchen floor apparently having succumbed to a fatal heart attack.
I knew him for over 5 years when we were members of the ChopperWeb forum together. I considered him a friend and mentor. He will be greatly missed in the Trike riding community as a great Trike enthusiast, designer and builder...

...may you ride long and free on 3, TrikerTroy....
