Trike won't start

Hey y'all
My Honda vtx 1300 won't start up. Went on a ride Saturday n in the pm it would not start, has plenty of gas n plenty of battery juice, but it just won't start!! What's the problem, any body out there have any solutions?

Could be a fuse-also a battery can have juice but not have sufficent voltage when cold to turn the starter over. Give us some more symtoms of exactly what it is doin????

+1 to Lakerman. Those (on VTX and VT) are notorious for internal contact issues.

If your getting a clicking sound when you hit the starter it's the battery!

Could be the battery, try a jump start from a second battery. If when you go to start the voltage drops below 11"5 the bike will not start. Won't start is also Avery loose term.
1) does it spin over? ( fast or slow )
2) Does it make no noise at all?

Need to be more specific on what the trike is doing. When you say there was plenty juice in the battery, I took it it rolled over... others didn't.

Bike turns over n it sound like it does want to start when I give it some throttle. It just won't start though. Kill switch is on the on position, so I dont think it's the kill switch. The pet cock is on the tank side n I've also switched it to reserve, but nothing!

Is this bike fuel injected or have carbs. If fuel injected, do you hear the fuel pump when you turn the ignition on. No sound, check fuses. If carbs, loosen one of the float bowl drains. You should get 2-3 oz of fuel if you let it run. No fuel indicates a problem upstream of the carbs. Pull the fuel line off (petcock off) then turn it on to see if you get fuel. This won't work on vaccum petcocks. Most vaccum petcocks have a PRIME position to allow fuel flow without the engine running.

Are you getting spark. Pull a plug and plug back into the cap, hold against bare metal, you should get a nice blue spark. Is the plug we or dry when you pull it out? Wet says you are getting fuel, dry says check for fuel issues. You might pull all plugs to make sure they are not wet fouled.

As someone mentioned, some fuel injected bikes won't operate the injector if the voltage is too low. Bike may motor over, but not fire up. Charge you battery or use another battery to jump start. DO NOT try to jump start from a running vehicle. Could fry the electrics on the bike.
