Trike Talk Texas Hill Country Reunion 2019

Dry sack on the rear seat? That eliminates little Harley...and don’t put him in that sling thing in front of you...too long in that thing would be hard on his back and tailbone..not to mention being in the hot sun or cold wind.

Yes I know... but the dog’s comfort and well-being come first in my book.

Yep, time to get some dates dialed in. Can y'all help me look at some Kerrville 2019 events calendar sites to see when a good time to go/not go? I'm still good with during the week days as someone suggested if everyone else is on board with that. Feedback plz..

The Texas Arts & Craft Fair is September 28 & 29, 2019 in Ingram.
The "official state arts and crafts fair of Texas sprawls over 13 acres at the Hill Country Arts Foundation in Ingram, 60 miles west of San Antonio and 100 miles southwest of Austin.

Weekdays are fine for me.

I told you in post #24 that pets ARE allowed at the Super8 - costs $15 per dog per night.

Waiting on the head Honcho for the dates. Hopeing for mid to late Sept. Oct got a little touchy last 2 years for return to Ohio

Ok..I’ll bite...

ONE. MORE. TIME.....

The Super8, where the meetup has traditionally been gathered, IS pet-friendly.

This past February or March (I forget which..been a lot of water under the bridge since then) I paid $15.00 per night for Stretchy-dog to stay with me.

Several years ago the Y-O Ranch allowed dogs.... I don’t know if they do anymore or not. They used to have a REALLY GOOD bar but the last time we stayed there (2014) the hotel had been sold and they were really watering down the liquor...bummer.

Guess we will reserve a spot at shcriner- kerrville campground from 9/15 to 10/whatever. Will find you @ Super8 or on a ride.

Ken.

Reservations

OK, I have booked is for Sunday September 22 through Wednesday September 25th, leaving Thursday the 26th and asked for a rate of $69 per night for single or double occupancy. It is pending approval, but he did guarantee us a rate of $71.10 so far, but will ask the GM and let me know if they can do the $69. What do y'all think?
