I just seen a truck driver here in Florida that's looking for any haul up through Wisconsin or
anywhere in the Midwest at lest once a week.
My neighbor is shipping furniture up to his daughter in Ohio tomorrow.

Just curious, Why wouldn't you use U-Ship ? I haven't used them, but you do get multiple bids from different carriers.

In some ways I also wished I would of got a quote when I moved my trike down here.
I got a quote from U-Haul to rent a trailer for my trike from Wisconsin to Florida and they quoted me $1,100 one way.
So I did the smart thing, I bought my own trailer, made 4 trips back and forth then sold it in Florida.

Just be sure to check out what equipment they are using. I don't think you want a young kid with a pickup and open trailer that just hauled topsoil for the lady down the block, who doesn't know what cargo insurance is, who has no experience hauling a bike, or trike, etc. I did find one good guy on there once, but, he subsequently disappeared.

Personally, I'd rather get quotes from professional, high-end motorcycle haulers, that have been used and recommended by other bikers. I have used Incognito several times, without incident. The other two I listed are used and recommended by other bikers/trikers on another board. Good luck, be careful... that's your baby they're hauling. Check equipment, check insurance, check references.

(I'm not saying there aren't any professionals on there.)

Any Hauler you hire, be sure to check them out in advance, before hiring them. This is just common sense. ThumbUp

I've used different carriers from Uship 3 times while shipping my spyder...one little issue which was easily resolved. Do your DD no matter who you hire.
