Trike rentals

HI ALL.... I KNOW I'M JUMPING THE GUN HERE BUT YOU KNOW HOW TIME SLIPS AWAY FROM YOU AS YOU GET OLDER.... ( BET I GET A FEW " WHO YOU CALLING OLDER" REPLIES HERE.... ANYHOW MY WIFE AND I ARE MAKING TENTATIVE PLANS TO VISIT THE USA IN MAY OF 2013 TO TAKE PART IN THE 25th ANNIVERSARY " RUN FOR THE WALL" FROM LA TO DC AS I AM A USMC VIETNAM VETERAN.HOWEVER WE ALSO WANT TO EXTENSIVELY TOUR THE EAST COAST AS FAR SOUTH AS SC AND UP TO NH. WE'RE PROBABLY LOOKING AT A TOTAL OF 6 - 8 WEEKS. MY QUESTION IS.... ARE THERE ANY TRIKE RENTAL FIRMS THAT RENT FOR LENGTHY PERIODS AND I WOULD ALSO BE LOOKING AT A ONE WAY RENTAL WITH PICK UP IN LA OR PERHAPS PHOENIX AND A DROP OFF POINT SOMEWHERE ON THE EAST COAST. AM I P*SSING IN THE WIND HERE OR ARE THERE POSSIBILITIES..?? WOULD APPRECIATE ANY IDEAS OR ADVICE. THANKS AND SEMPER FI TO MY MARINE BROTHERS ON THIS FORUM. What do you ride at home?
Some people I met a couple of times from the netherlands found it was cheaper to ship their gold wing here by boat from the netherlands and then pick it up in Chicago then rent one after getting here.
They did it twice they were here a month each time.
You may want to look in to going that way.
I really have never heard of any one having trikes for rent.

I googled trike rentals and came up with quite a list!

From what I can see they aren't cheap, but I didn't look into it more than superficially.

Thanks Jim, I shipped my Harley ( before I triked it) to the States in 08 and was hassled in both directions. 3 months to get it there and 5 months to get it home all for paper work hold ups at US Customs so I swore I would never do it again..!! Might consider buying and reselling if rentals are too expensive. Cheers, Bob

Thanks Nana... I'll give them a browse and see what's up. Trike has been on the road for a couple of months now and we are loving it. Has given me a whole new lease on life..!! We have even bought a camper trailer which just goes to prove that anything I said when I was younger could not be taken for gospel..!! Even by me..!! Cheers, Bob
