Trike leaning to the Left

I haven't had my trike too long and am waiting for my service manual (and some new parts) to get here via my son, so I thought I would ask you all for some advice. I was checking it over and noticed the left side was sagging about 1.5-2" lower than the right side. the air pressure was at 30, so I put 10 more in it trying to get it to pump up some but no such luck. This was checked by measuring from the fender edge to the blackwall on the tires. Anybody have any ideas on what problems to check? Or some suggestions on what is going on? I have ordered the BK Comfort Lift for the rear to gain a bit more ground clearance and when I tear it apart to install the new brackets, I would like to have an idea of what to look for!

Try letting all the air out of the shocks. Do it real slow, as the shock oil will come out. Then measure. Also check for oil leaking from shock bottom. Also ck for bent support brackets. There ain't much there. No springs, just shocks. HD had shock problems in rear. I had both replaced due to oil seal leaks. Also it could be just body lean.

Same as i had on my 11, Back in 11 they fixed it while i waited. You can play with the tire pressures all you want that won't help . The body has to be adjusted [leveled].
Seem's like its common problem with the Tri-Glide, And a quick one time fix..

Thanks! Looks like I have an afternoon project!!!!

Bronxbill, what type of shims were used? Speciality or the "old washer fix or drilled steel plate" variety???

Much Thanks triglide15!!!!!

My 2011 FLHXXX has been like that since I bought it in May 2011. I never bothered to get it leveled because it adds character to the trike. Kinda like a Sailor's Dixie Cup hat cocked off to the side.:)

My 11 trike was like that also. The dealer pulled the rear body off & leveled the rear frame. If I remember correctly I think it was around 3hrs. It was covered under warranty.

I watched my Tech take the entire back-end off my TriGlide off in under 20 minutes. 3 hrs would be a hell of a long coffee break in the middle!

Ha, yea you're right. It was the first time they ever removed the backend. They were stumped for awhile.

Not really sure what they used. It was under warranty so I didn't think much about it. All the Work Order stated was "used shims to level rear end" It never was a problem again after they fixed it
