Tri-Wing Grease Seal Question

I am in the process of adding disk brakes to my Venture/Tri-Wing Trike and have a question. When I pulled the axles I discovered inner grease seals which are not on stock Mustang rear ends, and the wheel bearings were dry. I called Tri-Wing and they said I should leave the seals in and just grease the bearing with RED stickey grease. They said they have had rear ends last for 100,000 miles doing this. This just doesn't seem right to me. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Bear: I too would be interested to know what year/model disc assemblies will replace the drums on my RSMV/Tri-Wing....Know a new master cylinder is recommended (Possibly by a Jeggs part?) Heard on one site a fellow found parts from a Crown VIc worked...Keep us posted...Drums have worked well for 45000, but I'm still not impressed with them...

I used a Wilwood 260-3376 Master Cylinder (requires a few modifications) Carbon One sent me directions on this and I bought it from Jegs.
I am using mounting brakets, rotors, tophats from a outlaw car. and Monti Carlo Calibers with Corvett Pads. I tried finding Ford Crown Vic's but the junk yards around her want $600 to $800 for the parts with mounting brackets and they were used. If you decide to go this route let me know and I will set you up with a supplier for the parts.
