I don't remember and can't find it in the book. Can you flip up the seat if so how ? or do you just have to remove it to get to th battery ? I've looked all along the edge of the seat for a lever and didn't find one ???

Sully you have to remove it. That's not hard at all The backend of the seat has a tab that extends out from the rear, with a screw that holds it downs into a blind nut. You remove that screw and slide the seat back and up to remove. There is a tongue on the front of the seat that slides into a slot. Install is the reverse.
