TRI GLIDE FRONT TIRE

I have seen this question on several forums, I think it has always been an issue with finding a 16 tire and one skinny enough to fit the wheel.

It would be great if there was an alternative that lasted longer. On my last two trikes I average 16,000 miles on front tires.

When I traded my 14 it had a rear D402 mounted backwards with 15000 mi.es on it and it still looked new. Did 2 trips up north and rode in the rain a lot . Did great.

Dunlop American Elite rear tire mounted in reverse is the best option I’ve found. Had Avon a few years back but oftentimes hard to find and lots of reports of buzzing and vibration. Easy to find the Am Elite and not as costly.

So you used an American elite mt90/b16 rear mounted backwards and got what kind of milage. BOUGHT ONE FOR MY 10 ROADKING ONCE AND THE ARROW ON THE SIDE SAID FORWARD BUT WAS BACKWARDS. Got hold of Dunlop and explained to them and they said it was an experimental tire and would be fine.Don't really remember what milage I got out of it,but that is the only tire i'll run.
