Hey guys and girls...
I'm going to pick up a Goldwing with champion trike kit on it the 19th...I have a F-150 extended cab with bed length of about 6 1/2 ft..Will the trike fit in that ?? I know the rear wheels will be on the tailgate but don't think that will be a problem..Anyone haul their trike like that ?? I have access to a 5 x 8 trailer but would rather use truck by itself....The trailer is the light duty type but I have hauled a regular m/c on it...Any Ideas?????

The trike will be about 1100 - 1200 pounds. The safest way is to either ride the trike or trailer it. The width of the rear of the trike is wider than the tailgate of your truck. I don't see how hauling on the truck would work. Most light duty trailers will handle 1000 to 1500 pounds.

I agree.

I would not put mine on a pickup under for any reason. If I could not ride it I would get a bigger trailer than you mentioned or rent a UHAUL or something like that.GOOD LUCK:RIDE SAFE

Don't do it the Goldwing trike iw longer then the Truck bed and I believe wider then the tailgate. Rent a small trailer. For what you have invested in the new trike, don't gamble with it.

Don't do it! My MotorTrike is 52" wide in the rear and I know the length will not make it inside the bed of the truck. You also need to have very little angle on the ramp so you don't scrape the bottom of the trike and destroy the overflow bottle for the antifreeze or the running boards frame. Trikes have a low ground clearance. You need a trailer that can hall at least 1500 LBS. and is a minimum of 6' wide. Your best bet is to ride it or have them deliver it to you.

Thanks for all the good info...After searching around I found a 6 X 10 trailer that I can use..So I'm all set...This is gonna be my first trike...I'm really looking forward to it after being on two wheels all my life,,mostly Harleys... Does this mean I'll hafta give up all my Harley T's.??..(")
