Trailer Wiring a GL1800 Motor Trike

Do any of you guys know where I can get a pig tail trailer installation instruction for a 2006 GL1800 Motor Trike? My local dealer (Eddie Hill's) doesn't do it even though they install MT kits. HELP.

If all you are looking for is the electronics to hook up a trailer to your bike then I would call electrical connections and use their trailer isolator

Thank you 6X3 and cjmitch. That's what is great about this forum you can get fast and good information.

Good Morin' Gene. If you didn't have your installer position the wires where you could get to them it's going to be more then a little task getting hooked up. Most commercial GL1800 trailer harnesses are designed as "Plug-N-Play." The plugs are usually accessed by removing the rear fender of a two wheel GL1800.. When the conversion took place if the installer did not relocate those wires so you could get to them you will have to modify the hook up some. If you do not have a wiring diagram of the bike it might be a real chore. Shoot me an email (goldrush06@suddenlink.net) if you need help. I still have the service manual for my '06 even though it sold a few weeks ago...

Good luck with the hook up!! :xszpv::xszpv:
