Does anyone have a toy hauler to haul their Trike and a another Harley or even two trikes. Would love to be able get one with a garage area big enough to take both. What do I need to look for and lookout for in brand, size of garage etc?

Work and Play. In Jan-Feb we did 37 days, 6300 miles in ours. It performed wonderfully, and is a welcome addition. Ours is a 30WRS, its got a 10' x 8' garage with a patio door separating it from the living area. The garage converts to living area once the motorcycle is gone: fold down couch and dinette.

Holy cow, what options are out there. Thanks for the input everyone. Rick like your rig and know what your talking about, I want to get out of Michigan weather in the winter too.

I recommend that you load your Trike onto whatever Toy Hauler you consider buying prior to purchasing it.
I had salesmen tell me that there would be no problem with my Triglide bottoming out when loading with a couple of Toy Haulers I was considering buying- WRONG !!!.
I have a Work and Play that just barely clears my Trike. Also, if you consider buying a Work and Play, stay away from the chain drive lift bed (sleeping).

Regarding bottoming out: I usually put the trailer nose up, which decreases the angle of the ramp. I also use two 2"X8" ramps that I run the rear wheels on to access the ramp itself. One or the other method, alone, would probably work...

Also, I agree on the bed in the garage. We did not go for this option, as it really decreases headroom. BTW, our Work and Play has 7' ceilings...great for a 6'2" guy!

You're right about raising the nose before unloading the trike, I forgot to mention that.
Re the chain drive sleeping bed, it's a poor design. The entire frame bends (its supposed to be designed for up to 300lbs support. Dealer replaced complete bed support & it happened again). Plus you need a parachute to get down from it and a step stool in get back in ( not so good at 2am for going for a pee )

Carrying Trike in Toy Hauler

I Have a 2017 Work and Play by Forest River Toy Hauler, and a 2010 Harley Triglide Trike..
Just bought the Toy Hauler, and experiencing Problems Unloading the Trike from the Back.
The Pipes tend to dig in to the ground.
I have done several work arounds to get by it..But none to my satisfaction.
Tried Propping ramp up about 4 inches and using my Leveling Blocks to roll trike off the Back.
Tried jacking front of trailer up to high Limit, which lowers Rear and ramp.
I am thinking of building a Beavertail ramp to mount someplace on lower part of ramp to flatten the angle the trike comes off the ramp at.
Anyone else experience these problems, and/or Find a simple workable solution????

I have a forest river wildwood 5th wheel toy hauler. 2014 triglide. I installed the triglide lift from DK Customs. Raised the rear of the trike 1 1/2 inch. I added additional rubber bumpers, doubled the height, to the drop door and added a 3 ft flip open extension to the ramp door. The axles on the toy hauler have been flipped which lowered the toy hauler. If needed, I have 4X4 inch blocks that fit under rubber bumpers which will raise the angle of the door. The 3 ft extension helps with that. Hope this helps. Jim

I use two ramps made form 2x8 boards, approximately 4 ft long. I use these for the rear wheels; the front wheel stays on the ground. This should keep the rear end high enough to keep the pipes from contacting the ground. Hope this helps.

Am I missing something? I thought the question was about a toy hauler that would store at least a trike and a two wheeler or even two trikes. And as much as I admire your haulers.....not one of them answers the question he asked.....or as I started with....am I missing something?

Work and Play has an option for a 16' garage, so there you have it...

Livinlite Toyhauler

I have a livinlite toyhauler that we absolutely love. I always load and unload at with the tongue elevated and exit with the front wheel turned when the back wheels get about 12 inches from the end. The only issue I've had is that the birds attack themselves in the reflective siding causing scratches. Great camper though so far.

Work and Play has allot to offer when it comes to separate garage area. I happen to have a 2015 25CB. It does not have a separate garage but can handle two trikes with ease. The 34WRS has a 14' garage. In the 5th wheel models there are 7 with separate garages with lengths from 10' to 19'9".

The Work and Play line is built on a cargo trailer platform. Solid exterior walls and a one piece aluminum roof. You can buy a fancier Toyhauler than a W&P, but not a stronger one.
