How feasible is it to tow a mobility scooter on a trailer behind my 07 Venture/Hannigan Trike? I am thinking a trailer to carry the scooter and a couple of suitcases. I am guessing that the scooter weighs a couple hundred pounds or so. - Maybe a trailer from Harbor Freight?

I can only walk a short distance so usually stay on the Trike when we travel. I would like to visit monuments, museums, etc. when we travel.

Craigr,
I see no reason you couldn't put a mobility scooter on a trailer behind your trike. I know from personal experience the past two years what it's like when you can't get around without assistance. I got a Pride 4 wheel mobility scooter and hauled it inside our small SUV. It was either that or my wife pushing me in a wheel chair. Typically these units will have a range of 20 - 25 miles on a charge. You can get folding aluminum ramps that could be mounted to the back of the trailer to aid in easy loading and unloading and be self stowing besides.

Best of luck to you in working this out. If you want to discuss this in more detail just let me know.

I currently have a Bushtec Roadstar trailer that we Love. But, have thought about selling it and buying a trailer that can haul my scooter AND our luggage when traveling the lower 48.

I am just thinking about it, no definite plans yet.

Craig it sounds like a good plan & a very doable one at that. With the lower gearing of your Hannigan trike you shouldn't have any problem towing that setup.
