Tongue weight allowed ?

I am trying to find out allowed tongue weight , not tow weight , on my roadster / Champion trik. No one has Ben Able to tell me. Even Champion.. Here's why, I maid a rack to fit into my hitch with a good receiver and a mounted box on it. It doesn't weigh much when loaded, and doesn't affect the handling any.. It weighs 22 lbs empty, and 40 max loaded. I took a trip to DC and back about 1200 mil, with no prob. I will post pix ASAP. What do U think ??

Re: Tong weight allowed ?

Thanks all for the input.. I had 2 different bike builders look at it, and both said " this thing is solid and will hold a lot of weight it should B just fine " So i am not going to worry about it any more.....

It looks good. I have had 60 lb on mine.. Not for a long distance. 30 miles. It was tow weight, but also tong weight .
