tired of all the bitching about harley

I am a 70 year old guy from Canada. I have owned a Harley every day of my life since I turned 14. I have also owned a service manual for all my bikes and have done all my own servicing. The only problems I have ever had was when I tried to increase performance by not knowing what I was doing. The last 3 bikes that I have owned were a 2000 softail, a 2006 softail and now a 2015 freewheeler. All these bikes have remained totally stock. The two softails treated me well for over 100,000 miles each with no breakdowns whatsoever (oil and regular matinence as per Harley manual) On June 29 2015 I bought a Freewheeler as of today it has 23,000 miles not kilometres. the only problem I have had is the speedo changer buttom which was fixed by Harley the next day. Harley is now and has always been a great bike. Also I have never had a problem with any Harley dealer in Canada or the Usa. If you walk in with a smile and a polite hello they will go out of their way to do you right. If you walk in bitching and running them down you deserve what you get

Good for you

Everyone is entitled to their opinion even in Canada. ride safely fearless

Proper maintance is the key to high milage with any bike/trike. Never had a problem with any dealer that I can remember. Some had better mech than others though.

:AllGood:I have not a problem, I do know those that have. ThumbUp ride safely fearless
