Tire sizes

Need some input from you gl1800 Hannigan riders. I have a 2010 gl1800 Hannigan and need to replace rear tires.
Currently have 195/55/r16. I want to try Michelin Defenders but they don't come in that size. I know some of you are running Defenders. Will you tell me what size you are using and if you have had any problems with them?

NEVER MIND-- I spoke to John at Hannigan today and he strongly suggested that I stay with my current size. I will listen to him and find a different tire.

If you do not have working ABS, the tire size you could use would be any size compatible with the existing WHEEL WIDTH.

Not 100% accurate all the time but will give you a general idea.
But as you already came to find out.
OEM is usually the best bet 99% of the time.
