You've been hit pretty hard right now and you sure have a lot to deal with! Are the police able to help you with anything after the robbery? You will be much in my thoughts and prayers, for sure -- especially that you don't lose your home and that your headaches stop.

Just replaced my Battlax BT-45 today with another Battlax BT-45. I think it is a great tire. I install it it the reverse rotation. I have so much cofendence in that tire that I left for Alaska on June 7 with 10,000 miles on the tire and put another 12,000 on it before I changed it today. Hope this helps. Be safe and enjoy the ride. Larry

The BT-45 is unavailable here at the store i used, backordered

the Michelin Pilot Active will be here in a couple days.

Well a tire is a tire i guess.

Go to MOTORCYCLESUPERSTORE.COM and look at the Michelin Pilot Active tires in your size. I ordered mine online for $109.00 with free shipping to my house. Local guy installs them for $35 mounting and balancing.

Re: Time to get that new front tire/ got it installed

OK I got the new tire mounted, i will install it later today. After i change out the fork oil and repair my back half front fender.

What a good looking tire. let you know how it handles expecting good things.

The fender is broken where the bolts go through, its cracked around the bolt holes. 2 on the right broken through and hanging, 1 on left almost gone 1 not cracked at all.

Fenders are back ordered, figured out a way to fix the broken part with wire, using the wire for strength and thin size. i will take pics. i plan to place the wire across the top of the fender using the side bolts to secure the wire. i then intend to secure the fender itself to the wire by drilling holes in the fender and wiring the whole thing together.

if this don't make sense its because its still theory and have not worked it all out in my head yet.

Talk to you later. ThumbUp

I think i figured it out, metel strap. i could put the fender bolts though the holes in the strap and still be tight. then use wire or ties to tie the fender to the strap.

should end up being as stong as not broken.

Gotta ride fenders back ordered and i'm broke. so modify adapt fix it make it fit. ThumbUp

OK i hope i was supposed to mount the tire backwards. it handles way better than the old tire. it streers easier and grabs way better so it steers faster.

it has some rumble to it kinda feels like the tread on a truck tire. Only i would notice it. got a little noise to. Love the tire though so far.

it has a very wide contact patch.

I was able to fix the fender with the metal strap and some ties, i'm also still able to remove the repaired fender.

The straps are bolted to available existing bolts on the forks.
