I noticed an oil leak on the left side of my Roadsmith trike and when I had it in for brake and clutch fluid change the mechanic confirmed a leak from the rear axle. I took it to Tony's on 10-3-12 for repair and learned that the rear axle housing had a hair line crack in it. According to Tony's installer Roadsmith told him that this is the first one they have seen. My 2010 goldwing was triked in April of this year so all repairs will be covered under warranty.I should have it back in 2 weeks. Has anyone else experianced this problem?

That's a rare problem in any vehicle so hopefully you will not have any further problems. My RS has no leaks anywhere.

Wow,,. Talk about strange. At least you're able to have it addressed quickly. So far I have no issues with my RS.

Just picked my 2012 Roadsmith at Tony's yesterday and saw your trike setting there. I had a wiring issue with mine but Tony came and picked mine up and took it back and fixed it next day. I had a Harley Tri-Glide before this Honda and I finally got to ride mine yesterday afternoon and all I can say is the Harley owners better not ever ride a Honda Roadsmith because they will be looking to trade for one. I never knew what I had been missing. I rode last night longer than I anticipated because it rode so good. No noise,heat,or Dealer issues.............
