Darned nice of her to think of us in that way. Probably would have enjoyed it if I could have understood the words. The least little bit of background noise and I have trouble understanding speech. (Damn 122 caused that). Sure am glad today's vets are receiving a much better homecoming than we did....They deserve it!!!

I had heard of some gal named PINK but never listened to anything she ever sang?

I figured it would be more of the same new age crap that I would rather try and baptize my cat than listen too?

If she has some more calmer stuff I might give her a second chance?

Im due for a new set of hearing aids myself but just haven't gotten around to it.

Think I will look for some that cuts out some of the background noise?

Problem is im cheap and on a fixed income so I will get some that are paid for by benefits, As long as I can hear my Harley run that's about all I care about.:Coffee:

Pcombe, I asked about hearing aids that might cut down on background noise the last time I was at the VA and the audiologist told me there is no such thing because trying to tell the difference between background noise and what we want to hear is impossible for the aid to differentiate. Once he explained it like that, it does kind of makes sense. How would the aid know which of those random sounds I want it to amplify? I know how you feel tho constantly having to ask people to repeat themselves sure is frustrating. I get to the point where I just quit asking and wonder if I'm not better off not knowing? DAMN that 122 anyway!
