My first real motorcycle was a 1950 HD Panhead I bought as a basket case when I was 18 years old. Totally rebuilt the engine and tranny (in my bedroom 'cause we didn't have a locking garage) and customized what I thought was the coolest bike on the road. Did the rigid frame and minimal seat hurt? Heck yeah it hurt. Did I care? No, and I rode it on many long trips and cruises. That bike, combined with my next 3 Harleys of similar structure left me with 'Harley knee' that bothers me to this day (in my sixties).
:Agree: Bottom line is I love the trike he's built and I have no doubt that he rides it far and often. Once the permanent iron butt syndrome is established everything becomes cake and ice cream!
That Trike is a cool looking ride fer sure. But not as cool as the Singapore Airlines RC Airbus Jet Model in the next video below the Trike vid.
Now that is way cool...ThumbUp
That is cool. The builder had a great deal of skill and a fantastic imagination. And as for the seat I'll bet there are more members on this forum than me that have spent over a thousand bucks to make them comfortable and in some cases ride-able. So I don't see the seat as a problem. I think it would be great to ride and take to the local shows.
