Thinking of selling/trading my 2012 TriGlide

When I triked my 04 Ultra with a MT kit I asked my mechanic how long to get used to it. He asked how long u been riding and I said about 5o yrs he replied I would get the hang of it in about a 100 miles or so but it would take between 3000 to 5000 miles to be as comfortable on 3 as I was on 2. So I picked it up one weekend and left for San francisco by way of New Orleans the next weekend with some friends. He was right as we were coming out of Death Valley about 3300 miles into the trip I realized I felt just as confident and comfortable on the trike as I had on 2 wheels. But I missed 2 wheels and bought a 08 Triumph Rocket III which I have 11000 miles on I trded the 04 in with 44000 miles and now I have 14000 miles on my 11 Tri Glide. Hopefully I can keep both but if one had to go it would be the 2 wheeler.

A Harley is a Harley. It is not a Honda and I don't want it to be for me. The people I ride with ride anything and everything and that's fine with me. I like my Harleys.

Msocko, I'll still ride with ya.

Later,...eighty80.

The only thing that counts for me is the ride, what a person rides doesn't much matter. I will say the biggest chuckle I get is the reaction one of my friends who rides a Goldwing had. He can't believe I'm looking to buy one, like I told him I will still own a Harley. I'll just have 2 bikes that are manufactured by someone who begins with an H.
